Tribute
to Sascha
My
beautiful Sascha came to live with me when he was 8 months old. I went
to a pet shelter to look for a dog, and this little fellow followed me
everywhere, I didn't pick him he picked me.
For 11 years and 2 months I had this wonderful dog. With his companion
Buffy, he had a wonderful life until diagnosed with diabetes in August
1999. Although this was kept under control, he developed a bowel
tumour and I had to let him go.
He was a funny little fellow, cheeky, but at the same time the most
gentle loving boy. His funny little ways were a joy, and despite
becoming blind in his last few months, he never lost his joy of life,
and he loved children. He used to play football with my nephew.
It is hard for me to write this, the day I lost him was the worst day
of my life.
Buffy and I miss you terribly little man, but we know you will be
waiting for us at the bridge, and you are free from pain and happy.
Love you always my boy, and Buffy and our wonderful vet Dan love you
too.
Viv and Buffy.
