Nikki was my soulmate. He had a beautiful spirit and I miss him everyday. I have had Nikki since he was 5 weeks old. We went through so much together.

Nikki was a retired registered therapy dog. He had his Canine Good Citizen and competed on a Flyball team in his younger days.

He loved to tease and play up until the very end.

He lived almost 2 years with diabetes and never complained about the shots, blood tests or not having the good treats any more. He was just happy to be with me and his mate Lexi.

When Nikki developed Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia and his health severely deteriorated, I made that difficult decision to let him go. I always tried to give him a good life and my last gift was to give him a good death.

Until we meet again my beautiful boy. Godspeed.
